Since the inception of HUHA, I had a 1000 ft view of where I wanted this to evolve. Stage one was build a system to collect and distribute needed supplies. This, as you know, is currently in action. Still in development, but in action. The next stage in HUHA’s development is building a team of readily available volunteers to distribute to adoption events and fundraisers. This stage, has been on the back burner as I have been very busy with stage 1 :-). As of yesterday, HUHA got our first volunteer contact and has put stage 2 in motion! Thank you Emily for reaching out to HUHA and offering to donate your time. Emily is a 17 yr old that wants to help out any way she can and interact with animals. How perfect is that?
So here is the plan, HUHA will give each volunteer a shirt, get your contact information, availability and add you to our list. As we come across rescues that are in need of volunteers for events that fit within the availability, we will direct our volunteer to the rescue. On site, they will be wearing our shirt and help in any way they can.
