We started with 3 pallets of dog treats. Each carton containing 5 boxes of Beneful Baked Delights dog treats (thank you again BullyWag, Inc.!). This was on Christmas Eve. By the end of the day on the 26th of December, we donated over 1000 boxes.
Bikers Against Animal Abuse and Neglect took 1000 boxes (200 cartons). They will distribute among their connections so the love will be shared with many! Check them out to see what groovy goodness they have going on with their mission!
Dog owners around the Edgewood Neighborhood (Intown Atlanta) found surprise treats on their porches Christmas morning! Just because it is sometimes nice to be Santa for a day.
Tay, an employee at Montrose Animal Hospital, who took in one of Mike Vick’s pits, got a big handful. He works diligently in training pits and educating folks on their TRUE colors in his free time.
Over the weekend we will be visiting known adoption sites, contacting rescue groups and hopefully getting the remaining……errr. We guess 1000+ more boxes delivered. As we hand them out we will keep count for a grand total of donations.
