The crowds were out in full force shopping for last minute beer and chips for the big game. The weather did not agree with the meteorologist and decided to rain early with a side of chilly temps. HUHA drove to meet BullyWag, Inc at Petco Unleashed off Howell Mill Rd in Atlanta to take donations as well as volunteer.
So we show up to donate some dog food, biscuits, large cushions for bedding, chew bones and a cute pink outfit…and again BullyWag, Inc has their hands full to give stuff to us! They donated 4 large boxes of treats and 2 pooper scoopers, a large plastic crate and a X pen!
After the exchange of donations, I went inside to meet the manager of Petco Unleashed, Akos. We gave Akos the run down on HUHA’s story, what we are doing, where we are heading and he walked us back to the stock room and said “Take these.”
2 boxes full of canned food and 2 boxes full of outfits and toys!!!!! Akos ROCKS! Throughout the day it was obvious Akos and this Petco Unleashed store loves animals and supports local rescues. Not only from the donations but the interactions with the dogs from the employees and the various conversations we had with them…they get it. In the end, one box of canned food went to BullyWag, Inc. and HUHA took the rest to spread the wealth. If you are in the Atlanta area near Howell Mill Rd or it is just a little bit further of a drive from your normal pet store, we highly recommend that you visit this location and give them your business.

That’s right! Petco Unleashed donated $500.00 to BullyWag Rescue! We had an amazing day volunteering with some really awesome people. People giving and paying it forward all around. This was our Super Bowl Sunday, how was yours? #DonateHUHA
